Voters can apply for a Mail-In-Ballot up to 7 days prior to the election (Tuesday, May 4 would be the deadline for mailing an application for the May 11 election). You may also apply in person to the County Clerk until 3 pm on the day before the election (Monday, May 10 for the May 11 election).
Once you receive your mail in ballot, it must be received by the County Board of Elections prior to the close of polls on Election Day.
Consider this option if you think you may have trouble using the machine to write in your vote.
