Write In Jim!
This blog will serve as my major form of communicating during my write in campaign for an At Large seat on Trenton’s City Council.
I believe that my experience as an active citizen in Trenton makes me uniquely qualified to serve on council.
My leadership skills were utilized in presiding over the Old Mill Hill Society for two years and the South District Citizen Police Advisory Council (CPAC) for over nine years. My work with the CPAC brought me into contact with residents from throughout the city as well as allowed me to develop a very strong working relationship with our police, public works and inspections departments.
I’ve been a member of the Trenton Museum and Trenton Historical Societies and an active participant in the city’s cultural life. My contributions to the civic life of Trenton have been recognized by civic groups: the Jersey Street Community Association and the Trenton Council of Civic Associations. I was a member of the inaugural cohort of Leadership Trenton.
Professionally I have worked in corporate communications, been a brewing consultant, and worked as a business manager for a local non-profit.
